As we saw in the sermon over the weekend, suffering is a universal reality, yet as Christians we should not be surprised by this. Firstly because of the existence of sin but more importantly because of the suffering that Jesus himself experienced. The following study will link back into the sermon while hopefully opening up the text for you a little more.

The clock is ticking for all of us as we saw in last weeks sermon from 1 Peter 4:1-11. Below is a short summary of the sermon and a series of questions that flow out of it. As mentioned before, if you would be interested in joining a small group please get in touch with one of the leaders or Phil who is the Small Groups team leader.
Last weekend we hit one of the trickier passages in the New Testament, the strange image of Jesus preaching to imprisoned spirits and the time of Noah! Hopefully you found that the sermon explained it a little and gave some context as to how we can understand what Peter was talking about. Attached is a short summary of the sermon and a series of questions that flow out of it. In the coming weeks we will hopefully see some small groups gathering together again in the church during the week to use these studies and for a time of socially distanced fellowship.
