This week we continue our time in the Psalms of Ascent by looking at Psalm 127. This Psalm is one of only two that are attributed to King Solomon. In many ways, this Psalm echoes the wisdom attributed to Solomon elsewhere, pointing to the sovereignty of God over both the lives we build and the homes we make. Psalm 127 challenges us to step back and consider the limitations of our human endeavors. What we do with our hands and what we do in our homes is all by the will of God. May we, like those who first sung this song, recognise that without God, all we strive for is in vein. This week we remain exclusively online, with the intention to return physically next week.
